Amon G. Carter Foundation is a Texas non-profit corporation established in 1945 by Amon G. Carter and Nenetta Burton Carter. The private foundation provides grants primarily for arts, education, health care and medical services, social service and youth agencies, programs for youth and the elderly, and civic and community endeavors that enhance the quality of life. The foundation sponsors and largely supports the Amon Carter Museum.
